Lists of soldiers acknowledging receipt of clothing and horses, 1864.

Two U.S. Civil War lists: First, printed form filled in, No. 52, We, the undersigned non-commissioned officers, artificers, musicians, and privates, of 6th Regt. Pennsylvania Vol. Cavalry, do hereby acknowledge to have received of Major C.C. Brown, 22nd N.Y. Cav. the several articles of clothing set opposite our respective names; issue date 26 Sept. 1864, fourteen names, witnessed by Maj. George G. Briggs, endorsed on verso, "Voucher No. 17, R[egimental] copy." Second, manuscript list, We the undersigned non-comm officers, artificers, musicians, and privates of the 18th Pa. Cav. do hereby acknowledge to have received of Major C.C. Brown 22nd N.Y. Cav. each one horse at Camp Stoneman, D.C., this 31st day of July 1864; 26 signatures on first page, 63 on second, witnessed by Benj. F. Reed, H.T. Moore, and E.A. Gale.
